Child Dedication
The precedent for parents' "dedicating a child" to the Lord is found in both the Old Testament and the New Testament (1 Samuel 1:28 & 2 Timothy 3:15). We applaud the desire of families to dedicate their child(ren) to the Lord on a designated occasion. When properly understood, the ceremony is actually one of parental dedication. This dedication in no way guarantees the salvation of a child, but instead, represents the following:
If you are interested in dedicating your child(ren), please fill out and submit the form below:
- A recognition of God as the giver of life, and applause for His marvelous handiwork in designing a "masterpiece."
- A demonstration of godly parental love that will be shown in the home on a regular basis.

- A prayerful concern that the child will enter a relationship with Christ by faith when he/she is mature enough to understand.
- A way for the congregation to express our support in assisting with these ambitions.
