What a disappointing day for Renzo! It looks like he won't be able to build the tallest building like he had planned. He also realizes sometimes he needs help. But instead of giving up, he prays and asks God for help. He decides they should build the best building they can, even if it isn't the tallest. Today is your day to build the best building you can, maybe even with help. Use Legos, blocks, tinker toys, lincoln logs, or whatever you choose, to build the best building you can. Can you work together with your siblings or friends to build your best building together?

Memory Verse:

Game:
|
Renzo and Lloyd sure made a mess at the construction site! While LLoyd was operating the bulldozer, Renzo was swinging the wrecking ball! Now it's your turn to swing the wrecking ball - but don't destroy anything like Renzo did! Make a line on the floor of water bottles, plastic cups, or something else you can knock over. If you want to race against a friend, sibling, or parent, set up two lines. Put a lightweight ball (about tennis ball size) in a long sock or one leg of a pair of tights, hold your arms straight out like the arms of the crane, and swing it side to side and see how fast you can knock them over, or if you are racing, who can knock them all over first.

Do you remember when Renzo was stacking the bottles on cousin Lloyd's head? He had quite a tower, but not such a good foundation. How high can you stack? Have a stacking race with your friends, siblings, or parents and see who can make the tallest tower in 1 minute!
